Each summer, Nourish Chapters conduct projects with funds earned throughout the year. By focusing on partnerships with impoverished communities, Nourish breaks the problem of poverty down to a manageable size. Projects are selected based on their potential to empower the community not just for a day, but for the future.
Last year Nourish sent 24 students to projects in Tanzania, Guatemala and Uganda. The Tanzania project focused on small business start-ups, the Guatemala project on education and the Uganda project on promoting agro-technology. Each of the projects was specially designed to meet the community needs expressed by our local partners.
