Ventures are student-run small businesses on college campuses that build awareness, a membership base, and funding at the same time.  Their profits are invested in community development projects.

Successful ventures in the past have included:

• Hold'em for Hunger, the nation's largest charity poker tournament.
• Hunger Lunch, a $3 meal of rice beans and cornbread.
• Global Music Jam, a charity benefit concert.
• Polar Bear Run, a one mile road race.
