Nourish seeks partners who demonstrate that they have identified an effective way of addressing poverty in their community. In addition, Nourish seeks partners with strong ethical fiber who are committed to seeing their project all the way to completion.
- A partner that is focused not just on giving charity, but providing training, education, and resources over time.
- A partner that has expertise and a history of working with the community.
- Establishment
- A need for student volunteers (unskilled/untrained labor)
- A project where students can volunteer without replacing local paid workers
- Students will not be a burden/cause a disturbance
- Our presence won't create a dependency
- Working WITH rather than FOR the community
- A partner that is efficient and productive with funds
- A partner that is willing to work with students to measure the project’s impact
- A partner that views students as an asset to the project
